changes .....

changes ....

the seasons
moods
mindsets
sheets
the color of our eyes after we cry
my son's shoe size
my daughter's best friend at school

changes stretch us

Nice poem, Loni! Some changes I've looked forward to and some made me cringe. But I agree that any kind of change strengthens us. The line about your son's shoe size brought me back to the time when my 10-year old son was still wearing toddler shoes and now he's size 5. I think there are two things that we can't control in life: change and death. I love reading your blog posts! It shows different facets of you. Hope you continue writing here.

My son's feet grew 3 shoe sizes in one summer! He went from a size 7 to a 10 in his Grade 8 year.

Yes I can think of lots of changes that made me "cringe" also, but how else do we learn and grow? :)
